We’ve put together answers to some of the most common questions about
the Light the Way Gala to help you prepare for a smooth and unforgettable evening.
What’s the dress code?
The dress code for the Light the Way Gala is formal or black tie. We invite you to dress in your
most elegant attire for this special evening of celebration and purpose.
Where can I park?
Complimentary parking will be available at the Brookstreet Hotel for all gala guests. Valet
parking may also be offered — please check back closer to the event date for updates.
Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable. If you can no longer attend, you are
welcome to pass your ticket to a friend or family member. Please notify us if you need to update
the guest name on your ticket.
What does my ticket include?
Your ticket includes a full-course gourmet meal, access to all musical and dance performances,
and an entry to the evening’s festivities.
Can I donate if I can’t attend?
Absolutely! Even if you can’t join us in person, you can still help make a difference. Visit our
Donate page to make a contribution and support underprivileged students in Sri Lanka.

Will there be vegetarian or special meal options?
Yes! We are happy to accommodate vegetarian and other dietary restrictions. Please let us
know your dietary needs when purchasing your ticket so we can make arrangements.
What time should I arrive?
We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the official start time to allow time for
check-in, mingling, and getting settled before the evening begins.
